Dark Shore of Deceit

Too often today in the media one reads of violence put on women by their male partners, and while this crime is abhorrent in its entirety, little or nothing is mentioned about the type of violence that is put on men by their female partners. This in no way excuses the violence men use against women but the violence that women use is far more subtle and can be just as devastating. There is in contemporary society an element of the female gender that plays manipulative mind games in order to get their own way, or to dominate as it where, their male partners. While there is ample assistance for women who have faced physical violence, there is no help whatsoever for men who suffer a lifetime of manipulative abuse at the hands of their female partner. This book came into being as a result of one man trying to purge himself of the hurts caused by one such female. It is a true story and written in the hope that the eyes of the world are opened to the knowledge that violence does not have to leave bruises or broken bones.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Samuel Bead is a pseudonym. The Author is however a well travelled man who has travelled throughout Europe and has lived in Kenya and South Africa and now lives in Australia. He is now divorced and likes reading and writing. This is his first book. He is presently writing his second book; a collection of short stories and poems that he, himself, has written.
